Fun Buddies pt 7

 Sphynx

"We're great", I mimicked Cream. I could not stomach this woman. I promised Jay I would play nice with her until he told her the reason he wanted out of that relationship. He went to her house to let her know they were over and the poor thing tried to seduce him to win him back. She needed to let go. I knew she was lying when she said they were great. He was with me everyday. I was having his first born and we would soon be married. Cream tried to get a ring for the past 2 years and hadn't succeeded. I bet those fancy degrees or that big house didn't keep her warm the way Jay kept me warm. I bet now she was jealous of this lonely, unimportant being she thought I was. I had always loved and resented Cream at the same time. On one hand she was always there for me, she always gave me her clothes she didn't want and she kept us in VIP whenever we went out. I even appreciated when she stuck up for me when the around the way girls tried to jump me but I didn't like how she thought she owned me. I didn't like that she thought she was better than me and I was beneath her. She needed to know she had all the luxuries of life except the one person she wanted and needed. She needed to know that after all she had and was, I was able to take it.I was the one who was about to have her world crumbling down. I didn't need her permission. All is fair in love and war right?

Jay

"Man, I'm fucked," Jay fumed.

"You knew what you were doing. You have no one to blame but you," stated Keith.

"I don't know what to do man. Cream will kill me once she finds out," complained Jay

Keith laughed at my misery. I don't know what I was thinking letting Sphynx cry on my shoulder the night her fiance broke up with her. That was the first time I had ever lied to Cream about not coming over to her place like I usually did every night. Phynx practically texted me while I was in the shower  forcing me out of my drunken state rapping to Ja Rule's "Put It On Me" repeatedly trying to contact me. I opened the door in my towel not thinking. I figured this was my girls best friend so it was no big deal until I could rush back up and throw on some jogging pants. I rushed up and threw some threads on and came back down. She looked very distraught and I didn't know what to do, so I offered her a drink. I was suppose to be at Cream's place in an hour and I figured I could make it in time if Sphynx left in the next half hour. That of course never happened. Next thing I know Sphynx had taken a mouthful of my seeds and we both fell asleep. The next morning I woke up, I knew this was the beginning to a huge problem.
